Pricing

How much does HVAC repair cost in Raleigh?

What drives HVAC repair pricing in the Triangle and how Exodus quotes repairs.

By the Exodus Heating & Air service team

Short answer

HVAC repair cost depends on what failed, the part, and the time required. Electrical parts like capacitors and contactors are modest repairs, while refrigerant leaks, coils, and compressors are major ones. Exodus diagnoses first and gives you an upfront price before any work begins.

What affects the price

  • The failed component and its cost
  • Labor time and access, such as tight attics or crawl spaces
  • Whether refrigerant is needed
  • Warranty coverage on parts

How we quote

We diagnose, show you what we found, and give you a written upfront price. You approve it before we start. Comfort Members receive $64.99 service calls and 10% off qualifying repairs.

Avoiding surprise repairs

Many expensive failures start as small problems a tune up would catch.

Our standard residential diagnostic is $99 during regular business hours. That visit finds the cause and gets you a written price for the fix. We cannot quote the repair itself until we know what failed, so it is priced separately and you approve it before any work begins.
